These Terms of Service ("Terms") set out the conditions for using the Screen Translate Android app ("the App") and its related services. By downloading, installing or using this app, you accept all of these terms.

If you do not accept these terms, please do not use the app.

Screen Translate provides real-time screen translation on Android devices. The app offers these core functions:

The app provides high-accuracy text recognition and translation using Google ML Kit OCR and TensorFlow.

All legal responsibility arising from prohibited use rests entirely with the user. AURSAL cannot be held liable for such use.

User privacy is one of our highest priorities. Our app:

The Google AdMob advertising platform is used so the app can be offered free of charge. AdMob collects certain technical data (Advertising ID, IP address, device information) in order to serve ads.

Important: your translations and personal content are never shared with AdMob. Only technical data for serving ads is collected.

Pro membership: when you buy a Pro membership, ads are removed entirely and AdMob is not active.

Chat Mode uses the Android Accessibility Service (AccessibilityService) API.

Screen Translate's Chat Mode uses the Accessibility Service for the following purposes:

Privacy tip: for maximum privacy, select the ML Kit (Offline) engine in the settings. That way no data leaves your device at all.

Default Mode, Touch Mode, Game Mode and Social Media Mode do not use the Accessibility Service. These modes use only the MediaProjection (screen capture) API.

You can disable the Accessibility Service permission at any time from Android Settings > Accessibility. Chat Mode will then stop working, but the other modes can be used as normal.

Screen Translate Pro is offered as a monthly auto-renewing subscription. Regional prices:

You get 10 minutes of AI translation free every day. By watching a rewarded ad you can add another 10 minutes, up to twice a day. Free minutes work with engines such as Gemini, Groq and DeepSeek; DeepL, Claude AI, ChatGPT, Azure Translate and the cloud OCR engines (Cloud Vision, Azure Vision) are exclusive to Pro membership.

Pro membership renews automatically each month. Payment is taken from your Google Play account 24 hours before the current period ends. To stop renewal you must cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the period.

There are two ways to cancel:

After cancelling: Pro features remain available until the end of the current period. Automatic payments stop.

Refunds are subject to Google Play's refund policy:

Under the Turkish Consumer Protection Law you have a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital content subscriptions. This right is exercised by requesting a refund through Google Play.

The Screen Translate app is the intellectual property of AURSAL. The app's code, design, algorithms and all its content are protected by copyright.

The app uses the following third-party technologies:

The AdMob and Firebase services are provided by Google LLC and are subject to Google's privacy policies. Data collected through these services is processed according to Google's data processing policies.

AURSAL works to make Screen Translate as good as it possibly can be, but no software is perfect. Translation accuracy cannot be guaranteed to be 100%.

AURSAL is not liable for:

For translating critical documents we recommend using a professional translation service. This app is intended for general-purpose use only.

AURSAL may release regular updates to improve the app and fix bugs. Updates may install automatically or may require your approval.

These terms may be updated from time to time. Significant changes will be announced in the app. If you do not accept the updated terms, you should stop using the app.

You may end this agreement at any time by deleting the app from your device.

AURSAL may stop providing the service in the following cases:

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. In the event of a dispute, the Turkish courts have jurisdiction.

We undertake to try to resolve disputes amicably before going to court.

These terms constitute the entire agreement between the parties and supersede all previous oral or written agreements.

If any provision of these terms is held invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions is unaffected.

These terms were drawn up in Turkish. If there is any difference between translated versions, the Turkish text prevails.
